Pre-inspection is very important to avoid problems related to cleaning. A true hand-knotted rug is copied to make a tufted rug. Tufted rugs are made by punching yarns through a fabric sheet using a hand-tufted gun. A second fabric is then glued to the back to hold the yarns in place. they are mostly made of wool. By now you are aware that there are many custom manufacturers of high-quality tufted rugs. some of the mass-produced tufted rugs are not made well. some add marble dust to the latex creating so many problems during cleaning. it is obvious that when wet cleaned, we should expect issues like bad odor and fine disturbing dust. we need professional cleaning because these types of rugs are not as durable and valuable as the ones made with a loom by weavers. #RugLife #rugcleaningnanyuki
