History of Carpets

Image
The oldest known carpet, the Pazyryk, dates back to the 5th century BC and was discovered in Siberia. This hand-knotted carpet is a testament to the advanced weaving techniques of ancient cultures. During the 7th century BC, Persian carpets began to gain a reputation because of their intricate designs. By the 16th century, the European interest in the Persian and Turkish carpets grew. These carpets became prized possessions among the European elite, and the trade routes flourished. European weavers began to adopt and adapt Eastern designs. Today, carpets are made from various materials, including wool, silk, nylon, and polyester. Modern designs range from traditional to contemporary, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. Carpets have been more than just floor coverings; they have served as cultural artifacts, expressions of art, and symbols of status throughout history. DON'T CLEAN ON LOCATION

Image
Fellow cleaners, AVOID CLEANING HAND KNOTTED RUGS ON LOCATION. Pre-inspection is very important to avoid problems related to cleaning. A true hand-knotted rug is copied to make a tufted rug. Tufted rugs are made by punching yarns through a fabric sheet using a hand-tufted gun. A second fabric is then glued to the back to hold the yarns in place. they are mostly made of wool. By now you are aware that there are many custom manufacturers of high-quality tufted rugs. some of the mass-produced tufted rugs are not made well. some add marble dust to the latex creating so many problems during cleaning. it is obvious that when wet cleaned, we should expect issues like bad odor and fine disturbing dust. we need professional cleaning because these types of rugs are not as durable and valuable as the ones made with a loom by weavers. #RugLife #rugcleaningnanyuki

MATTRESS CLEANING

Image
We shed almost all our dead skin in bed and sofas. Our all-night-long sweat ends up on the mattress regardless of the bedding. Have you noticed when you buy a pillow for example, or a mattress today it will have a months' sticker on it? Some even with dates. You don't get their full value when you don't change them how the date says you should. place your mattresses in well-aerated positions not every day but often. Ensure you clean the mattresses, sofas, and carpets often at least once yearly to stay healthy. We clean for health. Wishing you all a healthy life 💪 #cleaningservicesnanyuki
